Independent Contractor/Web Developer utilizing PHP, Coldfusion, and Rails

As the web developer for Wharton’s External Affairs department, I am responsible for updates to the various reunion and fundraising pages on Wharton’s website. I took a lead role in the creation of the Alumni class note system and provided wireframes for the new Alumni portal and overall Alumni site. I am also the point person for the department’s integration with the school’s Red Dot CMS/Open Text Web Site Management Server.

I am also responsible for the creation and maintenance of The Wharton Magazine’s CASE II award-winning Wharton Blog Network.

IQnection Internet Services, Inc.

In my capacity within the IQnection team, I worked on a wide range of websites from large development projects to small brochure sites. I was been the lead developer on a number of projects, and drove an initiative to make IQnection’s client sites more SEO-friendly and code compliant. In my time at IQnection I helped the development team push the envelope of HTML and CSS, as well as adding a number of team-building protocols to our normal workflow.

As the sole web developer for Krames’ Marketing Creative Services division, I was responsible for e-commerce web development and design and e-marketing in a corporate environment. I worked with design and marketing teams, prioritized requests, managed a full marketing schedule, acted as a team technical advisor, and liaised with internal technical divisions and outside vendors. Within my first three months with Krames, I restructured the marketing department’s entire approach to e-mail driven marketing, leading to an immediate increase in view and click-through rates and on-line sales.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of Kinetic’s client websites, ranging from simple information pages, to complex, high-traffic e-commerce sites.
