About

Welcome to my humble abode on the web. My name is Paul, and I’ve been a web developer for about five years. Now that we’ve got the IT Professionals Anonymous introductions out of the way, allow me to tell you about me.

I started out doing little sites for myself and a few friends a while back, and eventually, decided that I could make a living off that. Of course, I decided this after the dot-com bust, but better late than never, right? So, I set out to find a place that would give me a piece of paper explaining that I actually know how to design web sites. After getting that paper, I got a job working at a little firm out in Limerick, PA, in the shadow of the nuclear power plant. Possibly because of the good work environment, maybe because of the radiation, I greatly expanded my skill set to include dynamic, database-driven e-commerce web design. Two years later, armed with these new (possibly radioactive) superpowers, I started my own retail gift shop. Don’t bother trying to draw the link there, it doesn’t exist. It wasn’t a good career move. I blame the radiation.

Anyway, after realizing that I had more inventory than customers willing to buy it, I decided to close the store and get back into web development. I moved up to corporate in-house development, and have been designing websites, email campaigns, and e-commerce portals ever since. It’s not the glamorous world of super-hero crime fighting, but I’ve still got these radioactive web design powers, so it pretty much balances out.

Feel free to check out my resumé and a small sample of my work, and if you’re interested in what I can do for you, let me know.
